History

The client started a McDonald's franchise in Bromborough in 1998 and came to Pennington Williams for support with a tax & corporate structure issue. With continued support the company has expanded its operations and now operates three franchise restaurants on the Wirral.

• carrying out a tax planning exercise that resulted in a new corporate share structure giving significant tax savings to the business & directors

• due to the nature of the assets owned by the business and the huge differences in value and useful life, a register of fixed assets was created within a system that gives the directors greater visibility and the ability to forward plan for capital expenditure
